Vi
har berättat om byggnader på kungsgården i Lund i flera tidigare inlägg
och nu ska vi sammanfatta det vi har berättat hittills och berätta om
ytterligare två byggnader och en kyrka till som också byggdes på
kungsgårdens område som man ser i kartan nedan. De vi har berättat om
tidigare är Harald Blåtands stavkyrka (1) som troligen byggdes där på
970-talet, kyrkan Sankt Clemens (2) som kung Knut den Store troligen lät
bygga i slutet av 1020-talet, den romanska stenbyggnaden under Lunds
domkyrka (3) som troligen byggdes omkring år 1030 som en byggnad för
klosterverksamhet som var föregångare till Den helige Laurentius
gemenskap, dvs. Lunds domkyrkas kaniker, och torgkorset (4) som restes
vid kyrkogårdens södra gräns omkring 1042.

Lund Carnival – 2018. Save the date! 18-20th of May
Soon it’s Lund Carnival
time again!
A student carnival
(Lundakarnevalen) takes place every fourth year and is arranged by about 5 000
students from Lund called “karnevalister”. The carnival is an old tradition in
Lund, dating back to 1849, and each carnival has a different theme.
