Save the date! Starting on the 13th of December, Lund will have a regular tramline. Already today you can see green trams test-driving through the city.
Starting nearby the railway station, at Clemenstorget, and having ESS (European Spallation Source) at the Science Village as an end stop, the new tramline will pass many of the Lund university buildings, the Ideon Science park area and even MAX IV laboratory. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes one way. You can buy a 24-hours ticket, at the same price as two one-way tickets, and use this tramline as a hop-on hop-off attraction exploring the city of Lund. Destination Lund prepared for you the new brochure about “The Science city of Lund” and what sights you can see along the tramline ride. It is available in Swedish on our blog and on our Facebook page. It is free of charge and mobile/tablet-friendly. Welcome to the science city of Lund!
